Virtual Fundraising FAQ
Q. What is a virtual fundraiser?
A. A virtual fundraiser is an online fundraising event. Instead of gathering together physically, supporters gather online, using technology like live-streaming and video, for example, Zoom. This gives donors the opportunity to participate wherever they may be located. Although this looks a little different than years past, we are excited and hope to see many more faces!
Q. I want to participate but I don’t know how?
A. If you have a smart phone or tablet, you can participate! The Zoom app is free on Apple at the App Store or on IOS or Android it is available on Google Play. We suggest you go ahead and have it downloaded and ready if you plan to participate so there aren’t any last minute issues. We will also be streaming live on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/TheCraikPattonHouse.
If you have problems, please contact The Craik Patton House at 304-925-5341 and we can assist you.
Q. What if I can’t be available during the time of the fundraiser but still want to contribute?
A. We will have a link on our Facebook page that will take you to our online donation site where you can enter your credit card information for your pledge. This will be available for several days prior to the event, as well as afterwards.
Q. I am not technologically savvy but I still want to support The Craik Patton House?
A. Thank you! Please call us directly with your credit card information or mail a check payable to The Craik Patton House:

Q. How long is the Virtual Toast?
A. We have some special surprises and guest speakers for our participants and plan to be “streaming” for about about 45 minutes.
